The complete renovation and modernization of 4 floors of the US GAO building (accomplished in 5 overlapping phases) included the fit-out for the US Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters.  The scope included a complete gutting of the existing space and a build-out of all new architectural finishes, new mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm and sprinkler systems, and rework of the electrical distribution system.  Stone walls with aluminum trim and other high-end finishes were incorporated into the design as well as a state-of-the-art A/V system.  The fit-out included procurement, coordination and connection of systems furniture (approximately 1,000 work stations).
