The Four Seasons Hotel remained open during this four phase major renovation. The first phase was the renovation of Bourbon Steak Bar and Restaurant, which features a state-of-the-art expo kitchen, dining and lounge area. The completed dining room is clad in custom millwork walls and ceilings, custom glass railing, wood floors and cold cathode light fixtures. The bar is accented by lighted glass portals and a leather ceiling.
The second phase was the addition of ten deluxe guest suites. These luxury units have Tunisian limestone baths, custom millwork and specialty lighting. These suites are located adjacent to a new 3,500 SF Royal Suite which boasts a gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms, a fireplace, an oversized limestone and marble bathroom, a private wood decked terrace, bullet proof glass and a state-of-the-art AV system. The entire wing that was added totaled 9,000 SF and can be closed off from the rest of the hotel for large groups with a need for security.
The third phase was a complete renovation of the existing lobby including French Limestone and marble floors, columns, and fireplace. The renovated grand stair has a millwork radius railing with specialty patina wall panels and a beveled mirrored wall. Upgrades to the AV system, the construction of a new winter garden and luggage corridor completes this 5-Star upgrade.
The fourth phase was the refurbishment of 62 guest rooms. This work was performed on an accelerated schedule, with the completion and turnover of 20 rooms every three weeks. The spaces were upgraded by new millwork, new carpeting, removal of existing wall covering and new light fixtures.
